Here’s the main hiring, funding and events news that I thought you might find of interest in the Irish Startup Ecosystem this week:
Funding:
Tailr: Irish software company Tailr has raised €700,000 in investment to help fund its plans to drive sustainable fashion in the garment industry according to the Irish Times. The funding was raised from Delta Partners, UK-based Haatch and Enterprise Ireland. Angel investors also participated in the round. The company, which was founded by Shana Chu, offers cloud-based software to help streamline production, ensure consistent sizing and tackle excessive waste. The software as a service platform enables data to flow in real time between design teams, fabric mills, and factories.
Enterprise Ireland Investments: According to Pitchbook a number of startups received recent funding from E.I including Quantmatix, JustTip, Konree Innovation, Darwin + Goliath, ISO Baseline, H-Connect, Ex-Ordo and Luna Connect.
New Fund: Molten Ventures, the Dublin and London-listed tech venture capital firm, has announced a new €50 million Irish-focused fund according to the Business Post. Molten has been a significant backer of Irish tech companies in recent years with the likes of Manna, Sweepr, &Open and Vaultree, included in its portfolio.

They’re hiring for a Senior Frontend Engineer [Mostly remote - Portugal. NoFrixion is a VC-backed Irish Fintech, founded by serial entrepreneurs, building the future of embedded banking & finance. They’re hiring for a Product Marketing Engineer. UrbanFox are building the next generation of fraud detection for online merchants and retailers. They’re hiring for a number of roles including a senior backend engineer.
