Events
NDRC Office Hours: Join Menno Axt, NDRC Head of Platform for office hours at the AWS Startup Loft on Thursday 16th of November. Register for free here. NDRC is Ireland's national accelerator for globally ambitious tech entrepreneurs. The accelerator invests €100,000 in 13 startups per year via an uncapped SAFE note. In addition, it provides them with access to world-class mentorship, coaching, and resources to help them scale globally. They are currently taking new applications for the H1 2024 cohort. The deadline is December 3rd.

Micron Agritech: The agritech startup with a mission to mitigate agricultural emissions and address the public health threat posed by antimicrobial resistance with their pioneering diagnostics tool is on the lookout for a Middle Front-End React Native Developer. The responsibilities will include developing and sustaining mobile applications that underpin their innovative diagnostic tools.
Tines: Founded in 2018 in Dublin, Tines is a smart, secure workflow platform designed to automate any manual task, regardless of complexity. By automating workflows, Tines empowers frontline teams to reduce monotonous, manual work and free up valuable time and resources. They’re hiring for their first Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to help drive their compliance function.
Funding:
NetFeasa: The CarTrawler co-founder Greg Turley has invested in Mike Fitzgerald’s cargo ship tech firm - NetFeasa. According to Nick Webb in the Sunday Times ‘Net Feasa’s sensors provide real-time data for shipping firms and other users. There are 30 million of these containers around the world and Fitzgerald aims to have a sensor in each one, as well as running the network that tracks them’.
GreyScout: Webb also reports that Scale Ireland chair, entrepreneur and Molten venture partner Brian Caulfield has invested in Greyscout who bill themselves as ‘the leading online brand protection SaaS platform’. GreyScout enables you to take control of your brand online and prevent IP infringements across eCommerce marketplaces, all from one centralized dashboard.
